Less than perfect conditions saw some of us head off to the near tropical climate of Tremadog in search of dry-rock. Sunday saw a mass visit to the Dinorwic slate quarry – always fascinating to explore. Renowned for being slippery when wet, it does dry fast, so can be a great venue for a quick sport-climbing hit.
