Our fabulous Social Secretary Margaret has been busy sorting out some exciting social events for us all to enjoy in the next few months. Members both past and present are welcome to come along to any of the events plus family and friends too. We hope to see you there!
Wednesday 24th July – Crag Climb & BBQ
We are planning to return to Beacon Park in Leicestershire. Last year we had amazing weather, so fingers crossed it turns out the same this year. There will be time to take part in some evening climbing or go for a walk. To be followed by a BBQ, bring your own food and drinks. Hopefully Brian will make a cake!!!
Wednesday 21st August – Evening of Rounders with BBQ at Old Ed’s.
It is time to brush up your rounders skill for this event. Let’s hope it does not get too competitive! Whether you are feeling sporty or not there will be a BBQ for all to enjoy. We will be meeting at Old Edwardians Sports Club, Streetsbrook Road, Solihull B90 3PE
Friday 1st November – Annual Dinner at West Warwickshire Sports Club
Breaking news! We have just booked to return to West Warwickshire Sports Club 78 Grange Rd, Solihull B91 1DA for our Annual Dinner. There is no band this year, just good food and great company and of course the much-coveted SMC awards. Get your award nominations in now!!! More details about this event are to follow but, in the meantime, please ‘save the date’.
