Our 2019 Meets programme is now well underway. Our next meet is scheduled for the August bank holiday weekend, Friday 23rd August to Monday 26th August where we will be camping by the coast in Bosherston, Pembroke. For more information go to the Meets Page.
We are also excited to announce that some of the Meets for 2020 are in place or taking shape. Here is a quick summary of some of the things we have planned. Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd February 2020 (2 nights)
Staying at Nant Peris, North Wales, situated in the heart of Snowdonia.
12 places booked at Ty’n Lon Hut, – £12 per person per night. This is a great location for winter mountaineering and walking, plus hopefully we will have some snow.
Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd March (2 nights)
A joint meet with the Orpheus Caving Club, staying at their Club Hut in Tissington, Peak District.
This is one not to be missed! For those who are attracted to the dark side there is the opportunity go caving along with Orpheus Club members. And if that is not your thing, there is plenty of walking and climbing to be done above ground.
Saturday 11th to Saturday 19th April (7 nights)
Annual bolt clipping trip to Europe.
Let’s hope for lots of sunny weather to accompany the climbing. More details to follow!
Thursday 7th May to Sunday 10th May (3 nights)
The First May Bank holiday meet will be in the Lakes (note the bank holiday is on the Friday).
Staying at Barrow Mountaineering & Ski Club Hut, Coniston – £10 per person per night
Friday 22nd to Monday 25th May (3 nights)
Our annual visit to Scotland.
This will be in the Fort William area, more details to follow.
